Had a lovely Christmas getaway with the family! The accommodation was clean and comfy, with electric blankets and air conditioning that made us feel right at home. The best aspect was the beautiful natural surroundings, with plenty of hiking trails and stunning scenery to enjoy. We also loved the fact that the staff were friendly and helpful, offering great advice on local attractions and making us feel welcome. Plus, the karoo donkey sanctuary was a hit with the kids!

The resort seemed to be geared towards families with young children, which made it a bit too noisy for our tastes. It would have been nice to have a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere during our stay. Additionally, while the location was ideal for nature lovers, it was a bit of a drive to get to town or restaurants. a great experience, but maybe not the best fit for those seeking a quiet romantic getaway.
